The PWA competition in Pozo Izquierdo is over and most of the windsurfing brands showed they new 2011 stuff during the cometition. It means, from now on I can publish some work I did few month ago. In May I did for Neilpryde/NPX a photoshoot and video production of some 2011 products together with Philip Köster in Pozo. The 16 years old windsurf talent did a amazing action in front of the cameras.

Avertising spot production for the Norwegian supermarket company REMA 1000 togehter with Barbecue world campion Craig Whitson. Craig shows his passion in four new avertising spots for the upcoming BBQ season in Norway and presents his own sauces, meat and grill equiment.

20.02.2010 RED BULL/SALTO DEL PASTOR
One of the traditional Canarien sports is calling "Salto del Pastor". In the past sheepherder use to go with there sheep straight down the hills with a 3 to 4m special wood stick where there slide down. Red Bull Austria been so fascinate about this sport and ordered this photo shooting to show the real face of "Salto del Pastor" in incredible landscape & action pics. Maybe a new Red Bull contest is born....stay tuned.

The young Swedish racing bike team Novus Scientific were visiting the Canary Island to get in shape for the upcoming season. The boss and owner of the company Novus Scientific was booking me to capture the team during they hard training in the mountains of Gran Canaria. Theme: Healthy sport, team spirit and power. Respect to those guys and thx for joining you, it was a great pleasure.

When friend and neighbour Jan showed me his new Harley-Davidson, we decide to make a small photo shoot immediately. This motorcycle is jam packed with small details wherever you take a look. Teeniest screws are covered with skolls and with every shot I saw another secret detail.

Looking in my archive I found this coverage shoot of Bart de Vries witch was published in issue no.6/October 2008. I caputured the sympathetic dutch windsurfer when he stayed in Pozo Izquierdo/Gran Canaria over the hole summer in 2008.
Hello, I am Daniell Bohnhof
I'm born in Germany in 1982 and currently based on Gran Canaria/Spain.
After my successfully vocational training as a sail maker I left Germany behind to make my dreams come true. I start a new life on Gran Canaria where I can go windsurfing practically in front of my own house and working as sail maker.
Few years ago I started working for film and photo productions on the Canary Islands and immediately fell in love with the endless borders of the inner frame. I started taking photos and have learned how and where to capture the best photos from some of the greatest photographer and lighting technician of the world by working side by side.
It would be a great pleasure for me to show you in a job my knowlege and passion of photography.
